Position Description

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods locally. You will ensure timely delivery while adhering to all company standards and traffic laws. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Key responsibilities: Driving Operations: Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods Route Planning and Navigation: Follow designated routes using GPS or maps to reach destinations efficiently. Loading and unloading cargo: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Pre-trip inspections: Perform routine vehicle checks and overall mechanical condition and reporting to appropriate personnel Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional manner Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies regarding driving and vehicle operation Qualifications: • Valid Driver’s License • 6 months + experience as delivery driver • Knowledge of DOT safety regulations • Clean MVR
